Serratto Blogger Dinner: Nine Delightful Courses

Last week, I had the honour of being invited by Heather Jones (of Heather Jones Consulting) for a Blogger Dinner at Serratto.

Serratto is one of the signature restaurants that line NW 21st street, a beautiful, elegant and welcoming establishment that specializes in Italian/Mediterranean cuisine. And, like many of Portland’s finest establishments, the menu does change seasonally so to provide the highest quality meats, produce, and of course hand-made pastas.

I’ve been to Serratto several times in the past for lunch or Happy Hour as it is close to my office, but never for dinner so I was most definitely looking forward to the vast tasting menu that had been planned out for us by the proprietors, Alex and Julie Bond and executive chef, Tony Meyers.

As you can see from above, Serratto has a rather large space and is a perfect multipurpose restaurant whether for a family dinner, special occasion or date!

And…then the food…let’s just say I was full until nightfall the next day.

And of course an assortment of fabulous libations…

As you can see, it was a fantastic night full of incredible food (my favourites were the ahi and duck). I had the pleasure of sitting next to proprietor, Julie Bond (who coincidentally also used to live in Mill Valley, CA) and of course fellow bloggers Michelle and Pechluck who I have become well acquainted with thanks to Feast and some of the other fun blogger events we’ve been invited to.

So if you haven’t yet, go ahead and check out Serratto! They have a killer Happy Hour as well!
